my mutant ability

I have a confession to make. I have a special talent that I only use at my most cocksure and self-reliant. I am as close as it gets to the mix between a child prodigy and an idiot savant at the skill crane. You know, that gimmicky contraption that haunts the floors of arcades and Wal-Mart anti-ways? The one that everybody claims in a scam. Well it isn’t and I am walking proof.

What most people who I amaze with the trick (and who I set up by already being enamored with the whole concept of my ability to do anything with any type of precision and skill) fail to notice is that the entire concept is about low hanging fruit. You might not always get that stuffed Scooby-Doo. You might have to settle for a stuffed Snoop-Dog instead. It is not only a game of skill and chance- it is a game of taking what you can get and turning it into the best $.99 toy ever hecho en Mexico.

It is all about perception. It is an attitude and it can be taught. There aren’t many people willing to learn. I think they would rather just sit back and be amazed.

i wish i could.
